CRI, a systems integrator and Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program, will participate with Avaya in an intensive, 36-hour Avaya ACE™ application development training and mini-hackathon program, offered as a pre-conference event to the International Avaya Users Group (IAUG) conference on May 20-24, 2012 in Boston, Mass. The Avaya ACE Codecamp provides attendees with in-depth developer-oriented training on the Avaya ACE web service API set, and an opportunity for application developers to showcase prototype applications developed on-site during a mini-hackathon.

CRI engineers will be on-hand, along with Avaya DevConnect experts, to guide select Avaya ACE customers, channel partners and other DevConnect Technology Partners in the use of Avaya ACE as a platform for communication-enabling web applications, portals and business processes.

CRI is excited for the opportunity once again to embrace the Avaya Power of We™. “We feel that it is essential to go beyond the typical methods of partnering,” says Paul Leatherman, CTO of CRI. “CRI’s experience working with Avaya has shown a clear commitment to Avaya’s ‘Power of We’, and will continue this effort through co-sponsoring events like the Avaya ACE Codecamp.”

CRI was selected as one of the initial Avaya DevConnect Select Product Partners for our Integrated Server-ACE (IS-ACE) offer, which makes it even easier for customers to acquire Avaya Aura® and IS-ACE through Avaya sales and channel partners.

IS-ACE is a VMware-based appliance providing Avaya ACE applications, ACE core software and Avaya Aura Application Enablement Services in an easy-to-deploy package. With IS-ACE and an Avaya Aura infrastructure, companies can develop and deploy new ACE-based applications for UC and collaboration in no time at all.

“We’re looking forward to showcasing the power and flexibility of Avaya ACE, Avaya Aura and Avaya networking solutions on-site at the Codecamp event,” says Jon Alperin, Managing Director, Avaya DevConnect. “Working with CRI and their IS-ACE offer has been a positive experience, and I’m certain our DevConnect development community will be pleased by the opportunity to get “hands-on” during the event using their solution.”

“The ‘Power of We’ doesn’t just exist solely with Avaya – this is another great opportunity to see the power of the Avaya channel working together to create solutions that we can deliver to customers. CRI is thankful to have the opportunity to continue to provide value to the community of Avaya partners,” says Quentin Kramer, Director of Partner Sales, CRI.
