Senior System and Development Engineer

The Senior System and Development Engineer will join a high performing technical team of engineers in delivering innovative solutions to customers in support of their communication network (Data, Voice and Video).


  • Develop, design and integrate virtualized server environments
  • Support  the Avaya enterprise telephony solution by engineering and implementing standards as needed
  • Provide technical demonstrations to customers
  • Regular effective communication with customers, partners, executive management team
  • Perform routine system administration and maintenance for all North America locations
  • Help find and assist with the implementation of new technologies that decrease costs while improving performance and reliability
  • Follow change control best practices for predictable results
  • Demonstrate excellent problem solving abilities


  • Experience and/or certification in VMware highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University
  • 5 to 10 years  related experience with Avaya Enterprise portfolio
  • Certification in CM, SM/SMGR, AES, CES, PS, Networking, Msg, SBCs

Marketing Assistant

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the improvement of communications between CRI and stakeholders, both internal and external. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for creating and designing content for company publications, such as newsletters, flyers, and presentations, and will assist in the coordination of company events with the Director of Marketing. The Marketing Department can be a fast-paced environment, so the Marketing Assistant must be highly organized and detail oriented.  Above all, this position assists in the promotion of a positive company image by keeping CRI’s stakeholders aware and up to date on the company’s current goals and policies. One must be sensitive to the needs, attitudes and opinions of CRI audiences.


  • Collaboration lead on the CRI Release to Market process (RTM)
  • Create Advance Product Information or Advance Service Information sheets
  • Coordinate Review and Survey process
  • Regular Social Media engagements- updating and posting on corporate pages
  • Creating project sheets as needed for marketing and proposal purposes. (InDesign/PDF)
  • Working with team on all items related to marketing efforts including press releases, social media posts, website updates, ground breaking events, etc.
  • Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements as required.
  • Invoice coding, follow-up inquiries from trade show vendors, and project set-up assistance.
  • Organizing and managing all aspects of filing and information retrieval related to business and client management needs.
  • Preparing internal and external memos, letters, correspondences and reports.
  • Providing follow up in a timely manner and prioritizing/sequencing multiple tasks.


  • Must have a minimum of 5 years professional office administration experience including the preparation of marketing material.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat in a professional setting.
  • Have experience with graphics software such as Adobe and Wordpress.
  • The ability to organize and plan for work, sometimes with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to details.

Technical Project Manager


  • 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager in large complex projects involving multiple groups
  • Experience in telecommunication (Avaya or other manufactures) is highly desirable
  • Local to the Central NJ area is highly desirable
  • Certified PMP (not required, but desirable).
  • Comfortable with various organizational tools (Project, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent people & organizational skills to deal with engineers, outside business partners, vendors and customers
  • Action-oriented and able to work autonomously.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to discuss what you’ve done in depth and what you learned from it
  • Knowing what is important to a team member and what needs to be communicated to Executive Management to keep everyone informed

  • Management and completion of large & medium size projects within the Information Technology department.
  • Regular Communication and Collaboration with all different pieces of the business.
  • Break down deep technical questions in to manageable pieces, get answers and bring them back to the engineering team is an absolute must.
  • Knowing what is important to a team member and what needs to be communicated to Executive Management to keep everyone informed
  • Collaboratively set deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of a project.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.

  • Prepare reports for the executive-level team regarding status of project, risks, cost and recommendations.  Consequently will at times need to deliver information they might not want to hear and must be comfortable doing so.

Telecomm Engineer


  • Under general direction, assists in the planning, design and implementation of telecom networks and systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for large projects; evaluates vendor products; makes recommendations on selection of communications software and hardware.
  • Perform the advanced administration and support of Avaya PBX, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), Avaya IQ, Microcall, Experience Portal, Aura Messaging (Voicemail), and NICE call recording systems.
  • Read technical manuals and brochures on new products in order to recommend changes in telecommunication configurations to improve levels of service and reliability.
  • Responsible for complying with the Information Security Policy and preventing the unauthorized use or disclosure of Company’s information assets.
  • Perform all firmware upgrades.
  • Provides 24X7 support of all Telephony systems.
  • Troubleshoot and identify advanced telecommunication issues. May need to replace malfunctioning equipment.
  • Monitor all Telecommunications equipment for alarm conditions.
  • Provides ad-hoc and formal training for new phone, Modular Messaging and Avaya IQ users.
  • Document and Flowchart (using Visio) all processes, procedures and aspects of the voice infrastructure.
  • Generate statistical reports for management as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and backups for telecommunications equipment.


  • Strong Call Center telephony operations experience required.
  • Possess a high degree of knowledge with Avaya Telephony systems.
  • Expert knowledge of PBX/ACD operations, including vectoring and EAS. Avaya Certification desired
  • Strong skills in telecommunications equipment, service testing, and telecommunications systems.
  • Experience with VOIP phones and conference phones.
  • Experience with SIP.
  • Strong understanding of Network Switches and Servers.
  • Ability to Document and Flowchart (using Visio) all processes, procedures and aspects of the voice infrastructure.
  • Excellent organizational, project management and problem solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College, university or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

  • Avaya Classes and Certifications would be a plus
